TOPIC: Flame dies after a while

Flame dies after a while 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hi

I have an original whie box stove which I have used a few times but sometimes the flame just dies out. If I notice in time I take the pot off and it will relight.

I think I am giving enough space between the windshield and the pot. Any ideas? Thanks Ben

That sounds like the stove needs to heat up more before placing the pot on it.

If you are using real cold water, when you place the pot on the stove, it has a tendency to suck some of the heat out of the stove and cause the flames to diminish. Let the stove heat up more before placing the pot on it.

This is common with most types of low pressure alcohol stoves.
